Stephen D. Mr. Stewart graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He began studying the law as an undergraduate. Mr. Stewart then attended Temple University’s Beasley School of Law as a Conwell Law Scholar. In law school, among other achievements, Mr. Stewart completed Temple Law School’s prestigious Integrated Trial Advocacy Program. The skills he learned in law school laid a foundation for building real-world litigation experience after graduating.
After completing law school, Mr. Stewart was admitted to practice law in the state courts of both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has since been admitted to practice law in various federal courts, including the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Stewart primarily works with clients in Philadelphia, Montgomery County, Delaware County, Bucks County, and Chester County.
Mr. Stewart is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL). For ten years, he served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of SeniorLAW Center, a Pennsylvania-based nonprofit organization seeking justice for older people through direct representation, education, and advocacy. Mr. Stewart is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Temple Law Alumni Association and an Alumni Admissions Interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his son and playing basketball and baseball.
